Fortune Foods is a leading brand in the edible oil industry in India. Fortune Foods started its journey in the year 2000 to become a brand in the food industry with its quality and key products, Cooking Oil. Today Fortune Food group is dominating the Indian market with a range of 7 products, including cooking oil, Rice, Besan, and Arhar Dal.

While other brands were struggling with the new age technology and the digital revolution, Fortune Foods understood it’s significance and decided to leverage digital marketing to compete and win over the competitors, but these were the critical challenges in the roads ahead


It was an exciting but challenging project for us. It was the first time we worked for the edible oil industry and built a solution to compete with industry leaders like Dhara, Saffola, and Dalda. We researched consumer behavior and created a robust strategy to win over the digital space by leveraging technology and search engines. We started with improvising the technology and followed these steps
  • On-page optimization of website content.

  • Off-page optimization of website content.

  • Build a responsive version of the website, compatible with all devices.

After completing the first stage, we moved to content management for better placement and customer targeting with relevant content. We started Food Blogs, “Desi Health Bites Campaign,” and shared food recipe’s in blogs. We created an influencer campaign with the famous Chef Pranav Joshi and created multiple video campaigns to reach out to the target consumers, we touched down the hearts of our audience with the beautiful content and fantastic host “Chef Pranav Joshi.”
  1. Website Analysis – Website Audit & Analysis using SEO Tools to find out basic SEO technical flaws.

  2. Keyword Research – Keyword Research to find out the scope of keyword universe we can target. A set of 65 keywords was selected.

  3. Competition Analysis – Competition Analysis to get the idea of where we stand on keyword rankings than our Competitors.

  4. Landing Page Optimization – On-Page Content & Landing Page Meta Tags suggested for the website, along with our targeted keywords.

  5. Link-building Activity – Simultaneously link building activities were done, where we earned links for our targeted keywords & landing pages

  6. Performance Analysis – Google Analytics reported growth of approx. 33% & almost 95% of our targeted keywords started to rank on Page 1 of Google

We analyzed the website with our SEO check tools and started with fixing the website issues like broken links, missing sitemaps, and keyword optimization. We focused on ensuring high visitors retention on the website and low bounce rate by analyzing the web page content and using the relevant keywords for SEO.

We recorded a 204.52 % Increase in organic traffic growth during the campaign period. Our audience loved the brand’s story and content, and we reduced the bounce rate by up to 36% and high engagement on the website’s content.

Our 50 Keywords ranking on the first page of google out of selected 65 keywords gave us a competitive advantage over the competitors on the search engine. We performed better than others. Our content was so influencing that 73% of visitors return to the site to check with our new updates and, this increases our engagement rate exponentially. We record 27% Uniques visitors on the website during the campaign period.
